Established in 2013, KSID is a creative interior design studio who specialise in private residential homes, AirBNB interiors and boutique retail spaces. Our services range from minor renovations to comprehensive design solutions, covering kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, custom joinery, upholstery, colour selection, styling and overall creative direction.

Each project is tailored to suit the unique needs and personality of the space. We work across both character-filled and contemporary homes, bringing thoughtful design and a considered approach to every brief. At KSID we believe great design is about more than just aesthetics - it's about creating spaces that feel personal, functional and inspiring. Through collaboration with our clients, we aim to craft interiors that not only reflect their lifestyle but also enhance the everyday experiences of those who live in them.

Designer and Director, Kylie Sinclair-O'Keeffe began her interior design studies in New Zealand, before making the move to Australia, to settle in Sydney.

She has gained industry experience working for both retail and architectural design studios while pursuing further studies through Sydney's Design Centre Enmore.

Kylie successfully completed both an Advanced Diploma of Interior Design and a Diploma of Interior Decoration with Distinction, over 6 years of study.

In 2012, Kylie started working as a freelance retail designer with one of her previous employers - and initially began KSID as a side project. 13 years on and KSID has taken on a variety of small cafe refurbishments, small-scale retail projects, AirBNB homes and private residential interiors.

Herself; a Mum with young children - Kylie believes in creating residential interiors that are not only beautiful and functional - but that are also 'real' and 'liveable' for day-to-day life.

It's about merging practicality with a sense of style. Creating spaces that look good, are casual yet sophisticated, but are also not too precious for daily, family life.

Kylie is also passionate about colour - and likes to incorporate (and sometimes challenge) her clients with an application of strong colour in almost every project. Colour can add a sense of authenticity to a project, enhance character and distinct design elements - or simply just add a fun surprise for clients and visitors to enjoy within the space.
